Alan was introduced to the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the therapeutic arts by Grandmaster Chee Kim Thong - as renowned a healer as he was a world famous Grandmaster of traditional gong fu - at his Surgery, where he was introduced to many of the diagnostic and healing arts of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) .
When at the surgery, Alan would observe the general and more esoteric/applied concepts and rules of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Grandmaster Chee, becoming aware of the extent of Alan’s grasp of the teachings he had revealed, advised Alan to pursue a greater understanding of Traditional Chinese Medicine and its practice.
Alan therefore subsequently attended the reputable Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
By so doing he knew that Alan would receive the tools to grasp the more technical knowledge concerning Traditional Chinese Medicine healing that he wished to impart to him. A period of intensive tuition in medical studies was consequently undertaken by Alan.
